Im so glad I didnt let some of these reviews sway my decision to purchase this bed for my toddler. My son absolutely loves his big boy bed! Hubby and I put this bed together in about 20 mins with no problems. All of the parts were in the box and the instructions were clear. The bed is a perfect height and our 3 year old has no problem getting in or out of it. I did cut up a pool noodle to cover the rungs of the ladder just in case of missteps, but we havent had any issues.
The twin mattress we had on hand is 8 inches deep and it comes very high on the guard rail. Although our son hasnt rolled at all while sleeping, we did order a more shallow twin for this bed. So keep that into consideration, especially if you have a wild sleeper on your hands.
Overall extremely pleased with this purchase and wish there were beds like this when I was younger lol
