Was easy to put together by myself, with an occasional hand from one of the kids. With it being metal there are a few things that should be expected: It is loud! Not a big deal if your kids are pretty tame, but mine are not. It hasnt been so noisy that it drives me insane though. I just have to remind them to chill out sometimes. After quite a bit of jumping around on it, it does need to be tightened up a bit to prevent squeaking maybe a buffer put in here or there. Also you need to really pay attention to them dimensions forethought about the slide going into the wall. I had about a foot clearance so we put a bean bag at the end of the slide for them to go into rather than the wall. Overall, this is a great bed for the price I would definitely recommend it!
