My 5 yr old and 3 yr old really like this loft bed. Took me a few hours because I had to disable another bed frame and kept moving this to have a better position. If I didnt have to move things around, I would have finished in like an hour. I also ordered a 6inch mattress 2 pack and turned this into a nice bunk bed. I like how low it is but gives my little one at the bottom bunk enough space. I did attach pool noodles to cover the edges and since the slide is long and almost hits the wall, I put lots of pillows at the bottom of the slide. They dont slide on this like how they slide on playground slides anyway. Im sleep training them to sleep on their own beds, so far so good. This helped saved space in their room which is also my sons online school now too. They love this loft and loves coming over to my place more than their mothers. If I have a bigger room or extra room, I would buy another.
