I have 64 years on this planet and have assembled many of these types of furniture with these types of fasteners. I considered the assembly directions to be adequate but sometimes vague, but not impossible. In regards to the quality, once again, adequate is the word that comes to mind. It sturdy enough, but not substantial, and functions well enough to suit my needs. I would probably have given this product 5 stars if the price was 89.95.
