Took about 3 hours of steady work for 2 adults to get this done. Easiest and fastest way is to have an Allen wrench bit on a screwdriver handle, rather than using the Allen wrench that is supplied. This is for my 6 year old daughter and she loves it. My 3 year old does too. They love the desk area to do their ‘makeup’ and I am in the process of putting bins on the shelves for their toys. Some negatives - the ladder is pretty difficult to get up and down versus a standard bunk ladder that has a better angle. A few damaged boards from shipping but luckily they were ones in the back that didn’t show. Some boards were not labeled so it took awhile to decipher which board was for each step.
