I'm so glad I opted for this design with a full size in the middle - it's a great bunk bed! My son is getting used to sleeping by himself, but the middle bunk allows my husband and me to sleep with him if needed. Assembly takes some time - two people took about an hour to assemble it. The bed has a huge footprint, so make sure you measure your space before purchasing.
