In the picture it looks more plush and shiny but in real life its not as fluffy. The finish is matte which is nice too. I like that its easy to clean and will not get dirty quickly. Have not slept on it yet but its sturdy to sit on. Easy to put together takes about an hour. Have help if you can because it is very heavy out the box. Im a girl who did it by myself but would have loved some help. It is beautiful and functional.
