Purchased for my grandchildren who share a small bedroom. Size is great, seems sturdy enough for a 4 and 7 year old. My only issue is the ladder rungs. They should have a flat side to step on; the round rung is hard on their little feet. Some suggest cutting a pool noodle and taping it on Otherwise a great product. Exceeded my expectations
