The cabinet is beautiful and solid. As some other reviewers stated, it is not white oak, more gray but for me, it was the perfect color. As for assembly, the instructions were on the money, each piece is numbered and instructions references each piece and screws by number and type / very easy to follow. If you stick to the step by step instructions, it will take about 2 hours to fully assemble without a problem.
