This is a simple metal bed frame. I purchased this specifically because of the metal slats. Instructions were easy. Some of the color was scratched off of the headboard. Also one of the slots for the metal slat mustve been defective. None of the slats I tried in that particular slot would stay. however I would not recommend anyone buy this.
