I bought this bed for my 9 yr old daughter almost a yr ago. I loved it! Assembly? Easy. Looks? Great, just like pictured. So what could possibly be the problem? The bars that support the mattress are absolutely sheet. I went to change out the mattress and never noticed before how bent the bars were! This is a 9 yr old girl who sleeps on this. I sit on the bed and Im 125 lbs and the bars that are made for support bend? To give u a better idea on the quality of these bars I was able to bend them back (kinda to normal, not really) by myself! Im not like a super Armstrong 125 lbs fitness buff. I dont work out and I was able to bend them! Now, if you use this for an adult. I guarentee u will eventually end up on the floor. All that was on the frame was a mattress, not a bed spring n mattress, just a mattress. If youre like me you probably never check the support bars of your bed, why would you? Until now anyways. Ive bought 3 beds in this same style (not sure if same seller but same style) and tbh Im scared to look at the other frames. The only thing I can do at this point besides wasting more money on ANOTHER bed frame is to get a large particle board that will lay over the bars and side bars to keep the weight off them and even. Pretty sad if you ask me. Ive never seen a bed do that before, especially with a child who sleeps on it! Would this work for a toddler? Maybe, idk but if it does I promise you it wont last long before u have to replace it. If I had known this I would of got something else, obviously, even if temporarily. I would prefer to spend the extra money for higher quality than buy multiple bed frames. So, moral of the story dont, just dont waste your money, seriously. If all the positive reviews on here were updated and people looked at the bars the star ratings wouldnt be half of what they are.
