Simple and does the job. The item is exactly what I expected. Quickly assembles like one of those fabric cube drawers. I think the weight holding limit is exaggerated and I would definitely not sit or stand on this ottoman. But occasional use to rest feet and store throw blankets for the couch (what Im using it for) would be absolutely fine. I just wish it had legs
