Have had these bunk beds for three months now for my 4 and 5 year old boys. Excellent quality! Perfect size for them now but will work well for years to come. Other reviews are accurate. pleasantly surprised with the storage capacity of the drawers. I like that the bunk bed overall is proportionally sized for this age range so the top bunk only about 5 in the air. So when that day inevitably comes when one pushes the other off the top bunk (which will take considerable doing considering the large side rails) they wont have as far to fall. In our case theres only a ceiling light and a few windows in the room, so at night the bottom bunk was so dim it was hard to read a bedtime story. We fixed that by buying a plug/in LED strip/bar light with a touch sensor and used command strips to stick it to the top of the lower bunks headboard. Voila! And he thinks having his own light is the best! I also added a few command strips with the hooks that pivot to the underside of the top bunk and the ceiling. That way each kid gets their own personal hook to hang stuff from (homemade Christmas ornaments, mini flashlight, etc). This was definitely a good choice.
Worth the money!
