We used this outdoors. I understand its not sold for that purpose, but we are in a benign climate (California). Unfortunately, the wood really isnt made for it, and warped immediately. There are now gaps between the planks, and even within a plank at knots. They arent major and I expect resealing after a few months should work. Since this is not sold as an outdoor product, I feel bad dinging too much for this, so still 4 stars.
