Update: August 2021. This sofa has removable covers that are 100% polyester. They can be washed inside out in cold water with clear detergent on delicate. Let them air dry and dont put the in the dryer!
For smaller stains, use lukewarm water and a little dish soap. Use a fabric shaver for any piling (Piling doesnt mean that the fabric is poor quality. Piling is caused by friction. )
Sofa looks BRAND NEW after cleaning!! Stay away from upholstery cleaners (e.g. Folex, Bissell, etc, these left brown stains but the washer got them out!).
No issues with the structure or frame one year later. Rotate cushions and vacuum regularly.
June 2020:This was a great find. I needed a small sofa for my apartment and was pleased that this fit perfectly in my 12x16 living room. The color is bone white/ecru but I hope it will be easy to clean. Its pretty comfortable and a bit firm. It was missing its center support leg but because I bought this about 2 months before I moved, it was too late for a replacement. I am the only one who uses this and I weigh about 110lbs. The sofa has not sunken in or caved. The frame feels sturdy and doesnt wobble. There are NO flame retardants which was a chief concern for me when shopping.
