The assembly was easy, however, trying to disassemble proved to be not as easy. You will need a hammer and a screwdriver to knock it loose from the bottom. This was needed because the stools were making noises when swivel around. On the other hands, the seller was very responsive to my requests and sent me replacement columns. Not so bad.
