I was replacing an old second hand couch and looking for something that would last a few years. I foster kittens and this couch holds up EXCELLENT to little scratching claws. Not a single scratch or thread pull which is really great. It also looks great. What I don't like is you can hardly fit two people on this couch. Also, the corner seat started to sag significantly within 6 months. I put more foam underneath to support and it still sags. I don't think I can keep this couch for another year and I've had it for about a year now. Besides the sagging cushion and that its just too small for what I like, its a pretty comfortable couch, looks great, and the fabric will hold up over time.
