We have had this futon for a few months now. This futon was very easy to assemble. I would say its very sturdy. It has had children and adults both sleeping and sitting on it. Sleeping on it isnt the greatest unless you have a foam topper handy or lots of pillows. It has endured spills and child wear and tear. My only dislike is that it is wearing out where the stitching is on both the back and seat of the futon. Meaning the stitching is coming away from the . Overall good.
