Four stars for the price point

If you are used to gym or expensive machines, this might not be for you. I needed this for my very small studio apartment where my bed is also my couch. It is a great size. Not super small, not too big. I am 5/5 and the handles hit mid hip. I can grip the handles with my arms almost straight. I wish the handles were longer. I would say if you are 6 this might be too short unless that doesnt bother you. The tread deck is a good size compared to most in this price range. If you are coordinated I could see the ability to run on this but I would most likely suggest a fast walk. If youre worried about your joints and keeping your frame straight, get a higher end model for running. The tread deck is a bit tight and I am hoping it loosens up with wear. The motor is very quiet but the deck has no cushion and can be loud if you walk hard. I owned a high end treadmill at my home and I can say without a doubt this machine is going slower than it says, so, if you are planning to go 6mph, you are most likely only doing 5. Again, not a big deal for me because I can turn it up to whatever I need to go for walking. Assembly is pretty simple, took me about an hour. I received all of my parts and the directions were very easy. I would suggest two people set it up prior to the assembly where you want it to be. It is a bit wobbly but once you are on it it isnt that bad. I would also suggest this be on a hard surface. Be sure to adjust all the feet to get the right balance. I also let the machine run for 20 minutes before I even tested it. Overall its a great machine for a small apartment if youre going to use it to do any type of walking with no incline.
