This chair has many things going for it. First, it is sturdy and sits comfortably. It is well padded in all areas. The cushion Velcros to the base so it will not crawl about. The microfiber will clean easily with a damp cloth and the mildest of cleaner. The rockers have stops to keep the chair from tipping too far in either direction. The chair does not slide about as one gets in or out with a baby or not. It accommodates a large person and a baby or pet. It is also designed so any length of leg can reach the floor. One does not need a hassock to enjoy the chair. The only mildly odd aspect is that when not being sat in, it looks like it tilts back a bit much. However that does not affect using the chair at all, and it works safely and, I repeat, comfortably on wood floor or carpet. Definitely a five star item. This one was perfect
