The fabric is soft and sturdy enough to handle my cats occassional claws (theyre jerks sometimes), the cushions are actual cushions and not just thin foam padding, the color is a perfect lilac just as in the picture. Assembly was quick and easy, and its a pretty lightweight peice of furniture so it wasnt hard to move around my living room. It can seat myself and my husband comfortably; it gets a little snug when we add my 8 year old for movie night but still comfortable. Just the right height.
