I researched a lot on barstools. I was looking for the 26 height, which Im very pleased with the height of these chairs as well as the seats. They are scooped at the seating area and very comfortable. They fit nicely under the bar. These were one of the only ones that checked off all my wants.
The reason for the 3 stars is the 2 issues/flaws that the stools had. The first is that the drilled brace did not line up with the inset nut in the seat. I compared the measurements from the other seats and it was off by over a half inch. I feel comfortable with the sturdiness of having the other 3 bolts and then the cross bolts. If however, it seems a little sketchy moving forward, I will drill the new whole to fit the half inch offset. The other flaw, which is more concerning; is the weld on one of the cross bars. It is not a good weld. I am concerned that it may fail at some point. I will label that chair. kid/friendly and not allow heavier adults on it, just to be safe.
Even with the 3 stars, I would recommend it, but with the warning that they may be flawed and depending on how much, you may consider sending them back. The 2 that are not flawed are perfect and very comfortable. That is why I struggled with rating it at a 3. but I feel Ive given it a fair review.
I put these chairs together by myself. Im a 50/something female, and it took me about 90 minutes to put them all together. Hope to improve in the future
