The bed frame was well packaged for shipping. The instructions were clear, and the only tool needed for assembling was included. Assembly took approximately an hour, and could be done by one person. When complete, the frame is really attractive / more like furniture than just a bed frame. It seems very solid and strong. Easy to assemble. Very sturdy.
