UPDATE: It has been six months or so, Visitors like them and the covers have had some dirt on them from the kids feet and shoes, brushed off very easily. Have still not had to wash them. I did spray these with scotch guard. Also to note that the cat has taken over one and plays on it by crawling sideways around it with her claws! No damage to material which has surprised me.

We will purchase another one as we can fit one perfectly in our rectangular living room. For reference, woman is five ft three, 153lbs. Comfortable for sitting, not a lounging chair. My peacock colored pillows are 16 square. Hope this helps. Will update when (if) I have to wash the cover. Seems to be easy to remove. Really pleased and would definitely recommend. Very sturdy.
