I dont expect it to last forever. But for this price for a king size bed it is a great purchase. We have had it for about 10 months and its still in perfect condition. As with any captains bed I definitely wouldnt recommend moving it once its put together, as that is what can mess up the base and drawers. I love all the drawers so me and my husband each have some extra storage space. Also love the bookcase headboard. Best purchase yet!
