With the help of other reviews, my husband took an afternoon to put our bed together. We used wood glue, L brackets for extra support and a huge piece of felt to protect the underside of the mattress. We feel with these adaptations the bed is very sturdy. Arrived in three large, heavy boxes in less time than expected! We only had one defective screw bolt thing, everything else was perfect. HAPPY!!
