Ok/ Im going for a brutally honest review here.
It is definitely functional. I was excited to see the reviews seeing it was easy to assemble from others, but the product I got was a bit tricky, although I did do it myself. Maybe Im just dumb with assembling things but I struggled a lot.
Firstly, the Allen wrench (named number 5 in the instructions) was not in any bag labeled such, but hidden in a bag with some other random screws. This put me back some time as I thought it was left out and the screws are IMPOSSIBLE to get in without the right sized one (which I didnt have at home).
The directions are simple, but too simple, I put the middle side up backwards the first time and had to redo it which sucked. I wish it wouldve made it clear there was a right and a wrong side for this before hand.
Also, some minor imperfections. Visually one of the ends of my boards was already cracking. I dont know if I got a product someone previously returned or something. One of my screw holes in the metal frame was also blocked by a random loose piece of metal? I was able to wiggle it out but it wouldnt fit through for a while of twisting. Additionally, my metal basket pull out thing is bent on the back. Which isnt too bad but on top of everything else is annoying.
My last complaint is why the heck they give us like ten metal freestanding hooks? I put a video to demonstrate: if you have kids, pets, walk to fast, etc these things will fly off the shelf with little to no effort. I am going to try and bend them with some plyers to make them stay more. But the design is dumb, they are not secure and held on by nothing.
Same thing with the basket drawer it is not intuitive and cheaply made. Two single screws that are two long to hold this thing is kinda ok. But the placement is terrible. I would rather just have a basket that doesnt move honestly.
I realize I am being critical, but overall I still like the way it looks and will keep it and continue to use it for the time being. I bought this for a coffee/ tea station.
It is just like cheap ikea quality but more confusing to put together. I just wish my product I received had less defects. One or two is to be expected, and the value for the price I got on a flash deal was great. But it is definitely not the best piece of furniture Ive owned.
It works, but some annoying flaws
