A very solid, very pretty desk! Overall Im happy with the product. There were a few small problems to note. First, I would like to note that unlike other reviews say, this desk is NOT truly reversible. You can definitely reverse it, but there is a single connection that will not match the holes in the tabletop and therefor will not be able to be screwed in. In spite of this, it seems totally structurally sound. The instructions and the product make no note of the desk being reversible so this is nothing against the desk.
Secondly, I had a few issues with the quality of the materials. As you can see in the attached picture you can see one of the bars splitting on a corner. I should have taken this picture before attaching it, but didnt think to. This was the condition of the bar out of the box. Several other metal pieces appeared scuffed, but the wood is fine.
The instructions are clear enough (with the exception of the support brackets which were depicted incredibly weirdly) but several of the screws were very difficult to screw in, either due to being tight fits or being at very weird angle. Still, I got it built in a single evening easily, while working on other projects, so it was generally easy to build.
Once it was built though, the desk is beautiful! Its sturdy, with the perfect amount of room. Would recommend.
