The negative reviews appear to be more related to shipping companies than the product
Im a pretty critical person and I spend a lot of time trying to get the perfect item to fit a slot in my life. I took a chance on this desk despite the poor reviews. Its got solid reviews on other websites, and similar items on from the company are rated fairly well.
Its a bit more complex to put together than something youd buy at wal mart. But its by no means hard. The only thing I had any difficulty with are the ball bearing sliders for the drawer, which actually have a release lever you use to screw in both pieces. The quality, for particleboard products, is actually good. The styles nice. And its not wobbly considering the design of it- its a corner desk. Put it in a corner. Youll never have a sturdiness issue.
There werent any broken pieces. And I imagine the low ratings for this product are mostly about that occuring- its got a lot of parts, and its a large/heavy box. So it wouldnt surprise me if shipping was the cause of customer issues with this product. Just my 2 cents.
