My desk arrived earlier than expected which was nice, but the box arrived with several tears and dents in it. There was even a hole through the cardboard and styrofoam, opening up to the desk surface. So I think my desk has some marks from that, but its hard to tell with the wood design on it. The instructions were pretty straightforward, there were really only two hiccups in the process. For screwing in the monitor shelf, there isnt actually enough room to fit a screwdriver between the surface of the desk and the shelf. If the order of the instructions were swapped around a bit, the problem couldve been avoided, but the design of this step was very poor. Secondly, the final screws from the top shelf into the top backboard did not go in easily for me. They would spin in place, and I could not remove/replace the white plastic they were supposed to screw into. I ended up improvising a solution and my desk is now set up, but it was not a very smooth process.
