The size is perfect for my small kitchen and its very substantial and well made for the price. It holds quite a bit and is short enough that I put one of my favorite little teapots on top and Ive gotten lots of compliments on it. Perfect for a small corner of the room and the magnetic closures are a nice feature as well.
