Parts came in labelled bags, and the various pieces were labelled, making it easy to assemble. The color is a nice neutral dark brown, but is a paint rather than a stain. It seems pretty sturdy, but one of the doors is a bit warped and doesnt quite match up with the other one at the top (this will probably bug some people more than it bugs me). Otherwise, is great, good/looking piece, especially for the price. Look exactly like picture
