The whole chair was in only three pieces so the assembly was really easy but there was one bolt that I had to get my live in engineer to help me with. And the sturdiness is good too for the most part just a little uneasy when leaning really far forward like if you are picking something up from the floor. But overall the chair is the comfiest chair I have ever had!
