Im not the biggest fan of the mattress, but maybe it is just me. I needed a bed quickly and the price was right and I was swayed by the positive reviews. I wake up every morning with a backache. Even when I lie in bed to relax before I sleep, I get a backache. My back hurts much worse than it did when I was sleeping on my old, 15 year old mattress. I feel like I sink into it in the worst way but I still wouldnt say it is soft. The comfort level is comparable to sleeping on a good air mattress. I have pretty much no experience with foam mattresses though.
