If youre looking for something with slanted rack space, and decent amount of desk and tray space, you will NOT find a better solution for under $200.
My perfect desk would be a triple wide with a lower monitor shelf (3u rack space instead of 4 in each of the 3 bays). There are a few available with that configuration, but at 4 to 5 times the cost. Why? If you dont care about slanted racks, then youll have no problem finding something. I really wanted the slant.
This thing is light, yet sturdy, and works great. Cool cable management tray, and the grated back plate makes zip tying cables easy. I got the all black. It has a wicked cool carbon fiber appearance. The only quibble would be that once fully built, you wont be able to put rack screws in the bottom holes of whatever you have mounted there. It doesnt really matter though as long as you put screws in top portion of unit. The gear will be slanted so gravity holds it in place. If you really wanted to, you could mount the gear before securing the main desk to the frame.
No complaints here. Im glad I found this desk.
