Great fun/to/ride bike.
All the electronics work as advertised.
Pedal assist is an ingenious invention and works with the slightest pressure applied to pedaling
I rode the bike without the battery and it was impossible for me to pedal up an incline which made me realize the value of pedal assist.
The 7 gears work well.
Breaking worked well.
I took my bike in to a bike shop, as recommended, to make sure i assembled it safely. The recommended a longer seat stem due to my height of 63. So now I have 2 seats and stems. One for seated riding and one for extended leg pedaling. I doubt I will really ever use other than seated riding.
For me, my seat was/is very hard to lock into position. Fortunately it is something you wont do very often.
I had a few issues but always got a helpful response within 48 hours.
Dont leave the key in the battery. Mine fell over and destroyed the key cylinder. Fortunately replaced it for free. Aming.
I take my battery inside due to the suggested temperature range of 55 to 77 degrees for optimal battery performance/life as we have major temperature swings. I set an alarm for 6 yo 7 hrs when charging my battery to remind me to unplug it to help mitigate the possibility of fire.
I bought the bike just to get me from point/A to point/B and was surprised at also how much FUN it is to ride.
The steering lock is meant to face at about 135 degree angle and not aligned with the frame as one of the pictures suggested.
I accidentally unplugged the bike/front/light cable but was able to easily reattach it.
I am very happy, so far, with the bike overall. I think it might actually be underpriced so I would grab one if you are considering buying one.
Great value for the price
