I have been working at home for over a year and I had to get away from the dining room table - I saw this desk and thought it might work - it surely has! It looks great in my living room and functions exactly as I needed it to. When I am not working I can easily store my laptop and other work items in the drawers and this becomes a nice table addition to the room.
