Arrived carefully packaged. Each piece was individually wrapped. I like how the screws/washer/small pcs were also wrapped separately for each chair. The shape and material of the chair was soft and velvety. The legs seem very strong and so easy to assemble. They feel sturdy and able to tolerate heavy weight. I cant speak for durability, only time will tell. So far, very pleased. Pretty comfy for the price
