I started putting this desk together at 11:30am and it is now 2pm. So, 2.5 hr to assemble all by myself (48 y-o female).
I could have finished putting it together in about 1/2 the time except for the fact that the instructions are lacking in that they do not clearly show up from down, back from front and that caused me to assemble part #3 (the one with the hole to accommodate electronic cords) the wrong side up - I only realized this by step 6, which caused me to have to backtrack and readjust.
Furthermore, step 8 (final assembly) was complicated by misaligned screw holes. As a result, one of the table tops does not sit exactly flush with the other. It is something I can live with (I am certainly NOT going to repackage the whole thing to send it back, that would do my sanity in) yet I dont think I should have to satisfy myself with a sub-par product.
Oh, and I have three extra screws (couldnt make them fit with holes) so, whatever, really.
