This item is nice looking and sturdy. I like the flames and its fairly quiet. The only problem I have is the it doesnt really throw out much heat. I live in a small house (500 sf), closed the bathroom door, and it took over an hour to raise the temperature 1 degree. You have to sit right next to it to feel any warmth. I think possibly with a larger fan that would push the air out more it might be ok.
Even though I was disappointed with this, I still gave it four stars because it may be that my expectations were too high. If youre not looking for much extra heat, it is nice looking and Id recommend it. But if you really want some supplemental heat, this is probably not it.
