I would love to review this bed as a complete product assembled without damage, but for now will provide a review of the 2 boxes we received so far. It appears well packaged, easy to assemble if you like picture books, and the undamaged portion of the wood seems beautiful, smooth and with a nice weight to it. Unfortunately weve only received a partial bed (after a week of it arriving at the local FedEx station-according to the tracking numbers), and the part we did receive has arrived damaged-so, we never received the 3rd box. Anyway back to the bed review; the wood portion of the headboard is beautiful, however it does have damage in some spots (which seems strange considering all the foam packaging), the fabric also has several small brown spots, and the sewing is uneven on the right side as compared to the left side by 1/2 inch on this particular headboard. The fabric is a nice light neutral beige color with a nice pattern otherwise. Anyway, I contacted about the damage as well as the missing box who then contacted the third party seller. Ive requested a replacement and a different shipping carrier. Its been 4 going on 5 days now, and were still waiting on the matter to be settled yep. And finally, the last thing, is that box 12 (out of 3 boxes) sat in a FedEx station for several days without being moved, although I kept receiving multiple notifications daily that my shipment was out for delivery. Anyway, a station manager finally said they were very badly backed up and have had guys up walk off the job, causing further losses for customers. So FedEx unfortunately dropped the ball and lost the third box, so weve waited almost 2 weeks in total now, still have no bed. Even if we wanted to, we couldnt put it all together to sleep on, despite the damage. We need that last box. Ive contacted daily, but unfortunately they say they cannot really help much as its not fulfilled from an warehouse, but rather its a product fulfilled from a third party seller. So, we are now waiting on the third party seller to rectify the matter and simply send out a replacement to correct this.
WILL UPDATE as soon as notification is received that a replacement has been sent out and there is a tracking number, so that future buyers will know they are being heard swiftly dealt with fairly by who uses third party sellers.
