To be fair, a packet of glue was included. BUT There are several dozen dowels that must be glued and a couple of seams. Using a fastfood packet as an applicator is asking for a mess.
There are what feels like several hundred pieces to assemble, but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. No quibbles there.
The finish, on the other hand was perfunctory. If I had paid full price (I purchased a used-like new at a discount) I would have been peeved. Consider getting a small can of finish to go with the bottle of wood glue.
Do yourself a favor, use your own glue.
