Get it dont think about it So sturdy - what a relief! I dont hear a peep from the bed during any activity. I did end up taking off my box spring about a week after assembly but they definitely work if youd prefer that. The assembly was on the easy side, all tools are provided. I really liked that the wooden slats are velcro. I have already recommended this bed to several friends - its somewhat inexpensive, super sturdy and it looks great. Im really hoping it lasts me for awhile. I read lots of reviews before my purchase — and I did see someone sand/stain theirs to a darker shade so thats doable.
