This is a great product. . Solid metal. Super easy to put together. The instructions are super simple and straightfoward. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a solid, all-metal platform for a mattress. I dont think a springbox is needed. Also, the package was shipped and arrived within a week. It is unstained so I suppose you can paint or stain it.
