Put this together in 20 minutes, easy. O do like the design with the Velcro and slats, gives added stability. One thing I noticed, I have a solid wood headboard that I used wood screws to attach at the base, and noticed the screws easily went through the wood of this bed frame but not as easy on the headboard, which has me thinking the wood on the frame is a LOT softer. Ive been using it for about a week now, no problems as yet, but time will tell and Ill update if I have any issues.
