This safe is perfect for my needs. Its really more like a steel gun cabinet because of the thickness, but thats not a dealbreaker. If youre looking for a secure way to store firearms away from kids, this is a great option. Also, it doesnt weigh a million pounds, so you dont have to worry about it being a permanent fixture to your home (that will help if should have to move one day). Of course it wont stop a professional burglar, but neither will your grandpas 4 thick safe from the olden days.
The biometric scanner works great, and is a fine secure option. There are also plenty of backup options to open the safe should one method fail, so thats a huge plus.
The only thing I do t like about it, is I cant store my AR/15 with a magine loaded (I have to cant it to the side), otherwise, this thing is golden.
