Good safe overall, but VERY FOUL SMELLING ADHESIVE! + Poor workmanship
Takes a bit to figure out the instructions, but its okay. The door is heavy, and should be mounted to avoid tipping. Primary complaint: the adhesive on the inner paneling smells VERY FOUL. Been trying everything to deal with the unpleasant odor. Aside from that, pretty solid.
On update: Its been a couple months now, and the smell hasnt dissipated. In fact, its going back in the other direction. The retailer suggested we let it air out for a few days, which we did for weeks. That helped for a bit. Now that its closed most of the time, the smell appears to be regaining its potency.
To make matters worse, I recently noticed the somewhat loose handle gives a few centimeters on the locking mechanism for the door / meaning, even while locked, you can start to open the lock a bit. It looks like with enough force, you can turn the handle as much as you can, and pry it open.
Honestly, the best PRO about this safe is the dimensional capacity, but it comes with some real CONS. Im inclined to try another manufacturer after this purchase. Would not recommend.
