This arrived and was setup within a short time period. There is a bit of finesse and patience required for assembly. Its not for the short fused or impatient! There are specific reasons for the ordered directives and missteps can cause delays in completion. However, these are easily remedied with a review of specific instructions.
It is sturdy. I do recommend for California buyers to be mindful of earthquakes. The weight of the tv should keep it safe but if we have something bigger than a 6+, you may want to hold onto it. lol
I really like the height, it makes for a nice theatre type experience. The storage keeps everything tidy and hides wired connections, especially for us minimalists that dislike clutter. There is plenty of storage! This was an additional benefit for this stand/table. The best part is that its multifunctional. If you decide to stop using as tv stand, its perfectly acceptable as a entrance or dining area service or side table. Thats because the width makes it very versatile.
