This seems to be very good quality. It is beautiful and fits well in my space (guest bedroom). I plan on purchasing a large tray so that I can move it in front of the futon couch and use it as a coffee table as well - so thats 5-in-1
CONS: One con is that it really cannot be used successfully has a chair because most people do not want to have their feet dangling. Adults feet will not touch the ground when using it as a chair because the seat panel is just too long. It works better as a lounger IMO (and best as an ottoman) IMO. Also note that if it is used as a chair or a lounger it cannot be pushed against the wall because the way it is made. Some reviewers could not live with what they perceived as a design flaw and returned it because of it.
PRICE POINT: Is it worth the price? I will say also that $400 is a nice chunk of change. I agree with another reviewer that this should have been about $100 cheaper (at least). I liked it so much that I purchased it anyway. However, if this turns our to be a quality piece that can withstand daily use, I would say its worth it. I will not be able to test that because I do not use the room that it is in. Overall though, you get what you pay for. I purchased a sofa futon couch that was cheap and I end up having to purchase a Tri Folding Memory Foam Mattress for $150 to place on top of it for guests comfort. I learned from this experience to just pay more. I am going to sleep on this tonight to see if it sleeps well. It definately is firm. But I could not feel any springs or other hardware digging in my body while laying on it. So I would say this alone is worth the price of admission.
Love, love, love this piece
