As soon as I felt the weight of the box I knew it was a quality product. Very heavy. Assembly instructions are poor but I am good at assembling things so I had no trouble. The problem with the instructions is that it references the parts as a, b, c, etc, however the parts are not labeled that way; they are labeled numerically. So thats a big flaw. Also, one of the two wood side panels was not smoothly finished, however that side will not be visible in my set/up. I also wish there was a lip or some way of keeping the mattresses from sliding to the side other than the slats with peel/off adhesive; although the slats with adhesive do work. All in all I am extremely satisfied and impressed with the product. Its sturdy, well made and an excellent value. The engineering is perfect as all holes line up. as they should. It works great!
